#12 CURATED BY MARC VERRECCHIA: TRAVELS IN ITALY
MARCH 9, 2026, THROUGH JUNE 9, 2026
This special feature takes readers on a journey to the heart of Italy through a selection of photography books. Far from tourist clichés, these books offer a variety of perspectives on a country shaped by its history, landscapes, traditions, and contemporary contradictions.
A photo book offers a unique way to engage with images: you flip through the pages, linger on certain images, and flip back. Each publication becomes a visual narrative, a personal journey through Italy as told by photographers with diverse perspectives.
This collection is an invitation to embark on a journey—not a geographical one, but an emotional one—that brings together a selection of books by Italian and international photographers dedicated to this country. Each book offers a unique perspective: landscapes, scenes of daily life, fragments of history, or contemporary perspectives.
