A CURATED BOOKSHOP

Viewing the photobook as a work of art in its own right and seeking to showcase photography in all its forms, L’INAPERÇU a selection of exceptional, rare, or out-of-print books, sometimes accompanied by exclusive artist prints. To offer an eclectic and high-quality selection of books, every three months L’INAPERÇU a prominent figure from the art or publishing world (artists, publishers, critics, or art historians) to present a curated collection: a thematic selection of photography books. These curated selections showcase unique photographic styles from the past and present, presented by experts in the field. L’INAPERÇU notably counted among its guest curators the artist-photographer Valérie Belin and the publisher Patrick Remy. With a focus on sharing and community, the bookstore regularly hosts a variety of cultural events: book launches, signings, installations… Able to accommodate up to 200 people thanks to a system of movable partitions, L’INAPERÇU hosted, among others, the German photography magazine Der Greif and Éditions Louis Vuitton for a special evening event.
