Yann Gross and Arguiñe Escandón have joined forces to retrace the footsteps of Charles Kroehle, a pioneering 19th-century photographer who disappeared in the Peruvian Amazon. The book offers an otherworldly immersion in the dense jungle vegetation, structured around shamanic experiences that the authors develop into an organic photographic process.
