ENFANTS DE L'EXIL / HIJOS DEL EXILIO- Eric Facon

9,00 €
Out of print

These people have their heads in France and their hearts in Chile, or the opposite. They carry the historical heritage of their parents, political exiles in France during the Pinochet dictatorship from 1973 to 1989. Born or arrived in France at a very young age, they grew up there. Their destiny was determined by the coup d'état of September 11, 1973. Éric Facon photographed them in 2003 in Santiago, Chile, and in Paris for a group exhibition commemorating the thirtieth anniversary of the start of the dictatorship. He tracked them down in 2013 to find out what had become of them. The book gives an account of their journey through their short life stories.

Published by Édtions Créaphis, 2013

10.5 cm x 15 cm, 72 pages, new
