FLOH - Tacida Dean
The photographs featured in *Floh* were discovered by Tacita Dean at flea markets across Europe and America. These portraits, vacation snapshots, and images depicting everyday events or spectacular views have all been salvaged and given a new lease on life. They retain the anonymity of the flea market, yet are preserved here to become works of art. Floh is beautifully printed in a linen-bound edition, with a slipcase, and each copy of the book is signed and numbered by the artist. Dean eventually stopped visiting flea markets for fear of finding an image that “should have been in the book,” but she later decided that there could never be a definitive version of this collection.
Signed and numbered copy.
