A reissue of an iconic series by Philip-Lorca diCorcia, shown at MoMA in 1993 as part of his exhibition *Strangers*. Between 1990 and 1992, he traveled to Los Angeles five times to photograph male sex workers on Santa Monica Boulevard. Each photograph was taken during a prearranged, paid session. The nostalgia emanating from the subjects and the intensity of the colors have made this series a true milestone in the history of American photography.
