"I invite you to discover a series of photobooks probing the many symptoms of today's world. An invitation that can be extended by a photographic stroll through the surrounding galleries, all in the Marais district, where the authors of these books are represented.
Based on real-life contingencies, political issues or individual mythologies, these books revisit current events. These are singular looks at the plurality of issues and themes of our time. These plural sensibilities also include art brut authors whose obsessions are also markers of our times. These artists use images to tell stories: they are authors of views.
The Photobook is conceived as a visual narrative in which the image plays a major but not exclusive role. Text can rub up against photography to unfold its meaning in a different way.

AboutAline Pujo:
Aline Pujo is an art historian, a member of AICA (Association Internationale des Critiques d'Art) and founder of the art patronage program of the Caisse des dépôts et consignations from 1988 to 1994. She was also curator at the Musée d'art Moderne de la Ville de Paris and curator of the photographic collection of Banque Neuflize OBC for twelve years.
A specialist in corporate collections, she co-founded the IACCCA, Interna- tional Association of Corporate Collections of Contemporary Art, which she chaired from 2009 to 2014. Since then, she has run her own contemporary art consultancy, AAA-Aline Art Adviser, specializing in collection creation and support, as well as exhibition design.
