#3 CURATED BY JONAS CUÉNIN: IMAGES D'AMÉRIQUE

FROM JUNE 26 TO AUGUST 26

"America is my adopted home. It was in New York that I discovered photography, where it became my greatest passion, and where I met some extraordinary photographers. I could only respond to L'Inaperçu's invitation with a selection of photo books retracing the history of photography in the United States, by American photographers. It reflects what we cultivate most here: diversity. You'll find all the genres here, without them really standing out, without styles really being identifiable. It's a way of paying tribute to the American cultural melting pot, which I believe represents this country's greatest human and artistic achievement."

Jonas Cuénin

Jonas Cuénin has brought together for L'INAPERÇU some fifty rare reference books on the theme of American photography. You can discover this ephemeral selection in the L'INAPERÇU kiosk. We invite you to come and discover works by artists such as Stephen Shore, Jill Freedman, Alec Soth, Jamel Shabazz, Robert Adams, Susan Meiselas, Nan Goldin, Saul Leiter, William Eggleston and many others...
