On the occasion of the Paris-Photo 2022 event, INAPERÇU was pleased to welcome the German photo magazine Der Greif on the evening of November 10.
Founded in 2008 by German entrepreneur and artist Simon Lovermann, this renowned project with multiple artistic ambitions highlights the work of contemporary artist-photographers from around the world by "linking the digital and the analog, exploring and expanding the boundaries and limits of image distribution and reception in the digital age".
"The Collectivity Issue" is the magazine's 15th annual publication, and brings together the work of 50 guest photographers and editors, asking the question of the collective in times of globalized conflict and crisis. Each double-page spread is an assemblage of a photo by an editor and an artist who participated in an open call issued by the magazine to take part in this project and present their visions of collectivity. Some of the artists present at the event were Thomas Albdorf, Jessica Backhaus, Nadine Fraczkowski, Hannah Hughes, Mårten Lange, Thomas Lohr, Anne Morgenstern, Prarthna Singh and others...
Sharing a common desire with INAPERÇU to promote and enhance contemporary photography, this partnership is an opportunity for us to present our first "curation" of photobooks. In addition to "The Collectivity Issue", still available, Der Greif magazine has selected the following books for sale on our shelves from November 10:
