VERNISSAGE "Le Beau Jeu" - Exhibition by Letizia Le Fur

  • THE INAPERÇU 65 Rue Beaubourg Paris, IDF, 75003 France (map)

In resonance with the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Letizia Le Fur celebrates the "little games" of everyday life, those fleeting moments that reveal the vibrant energy of the city. Inspired by philosopher Mathieu Triclot, who asserts that "to play is to become human", she explores how these moments shape our connection to urban space. After six months in Paris and its suburbs, she remarks: "Adults play less than I thought, but I've discovered a few die-hards. For her project, she opted for a square format, evoking those games that have survived the advent of digital technology: game boards, hopscotch, Scrabble tokens... Paris, usually a museum city, fades into the background to become a humble showcase for our intimate, playful connection with the land.
