Atlas Monographs is a compilation of eight travel journals previously created by Australian photographer Max Pam (b. 1949), beginning with Pam’s most recent work (Karakoram, 2006) and spanning decades back to his first journals, which he began in the early 1970s. Through text, photographs, and marks on paper, the journals document his engagement with the various Asian cultures he encountered.
