This work by the British multidisciplinary artist Sophy Rickett (b. 1970) is inspired by the life and work of Thereza Dillwyn Llewelyn (1834–1926), a Welsh artist and astronomer active in the late 19th century who received little recognition during her lifetime. Through photography and text, Sophy Rickett thus presents in "The Curious Moaning of Kenfing Burrows" a highly personal artistic interpretation of the vast and complex archives of the Dillwyn Llewelyn family.
