METAPHORS - Ettore Sottsass
In this personal journal, Ettore Sottsass, one of the greatest contemporary designers, offers a glimpse into his creative experience from the late 1960s to the early 1970s. From this artistically prolific period—both for him and for many other artists—Ettore Sotsass publishes for the first time projects and photographs taken in the United States, Italy, and Spain between 1968 and 1976. Carefully selected by him, the pieces are presented as part of a narrative through which the artist draws on his memory and engages with his past. This personal visual diary offers access to Sotsass’s complex cultural universe and provides insight into his creative process.
