STÉPHANE COUTURIER - Stéphane Couturier

39,00 €
Out of print

Stéphane Couturier's first monograph, this retrospective work covers the whole range of his work, from construction sites, factories and cities built ex-nihilo, shot with a camera, to his transition to digital photography, notably with the ongoing series Algiers - cité Climat de France. He is interested in the notion of urban archaeology, a common thread running through his practice, which questions the mutations of the landscapes that surround us in a variety of ways.

Two previously unpublished essays accompany this visual journey. The first, by Mathieu Poirier, examines the deconstruction and transformation of reality in Stéphane Couturier's work, while the second, by François Cheval, analyzes the series Algiers - cité Climat de France currently on show at the Musée Niépce.
