LUIGI GHIRRI, THE INFINITE FRIEND - Claude Nori
Was Luigi Ghirri (1943–1992) a genius? There are so few of them in photography. His major retrospective at the Jeu de Paume in February and this book, written for the occasion, will attempt to answer that question while exploring a body of work whose influence remains decisive in the perception of contemporary photography. In this book, the Italian photographer is profiled by his friend and fellow photographer, Claude Nori. The text is primarily accompanied by photographs of Luigi Ghirri taken by Claude Nori; both black-and-white and color photos.
