THE SHIPPING FORECAST - Mark Power
Thirty years ago, Mark Power set out to photograph the thirty-one sea areas around the coasts of the British Isles to create a visual representation of the marine forecasts. For almost 100 years, the forecasts have been broadcast four times a day on BBC radio and have entered the consciousness of the British public - a constant in an ever-changing world. Power's book, The Shipping Forecast, was originally published in 1996. This new edition, revised and considerably expanded, includes over 100 previously unpublished photographs.
