THE SHIPPING FORECAST - Mark Power
Thirty years ago, Mark Power set out to photograph the thirty-one maritime zones around the coasts of the British Isles in order to create a visual representation of the marine weather forecast. For nearly 100 years, the forecast has been broadcast four times a day on BBC Radio and has become ingrained in the British public consciousness—a constant in an ever-changing world. Power’s book, *The Shipping Forecast*, was originally published in 1996. This new edition, revised and significantly expanded, includes over 100 previously unpublished photographs.
